CHRISTIAN FRIENDS of ISRAEL-CANADA

"As Christians we have received from God a love for Israel and the Jewish people" Founders Ray & Sharon Sanders

New Beginnings

In 1985, Ray and Sharon Sanders, already having successful careers, felt the call of God on their lives, and journeyed from Iowa, USA to Bible School in Dallas, Texas to Jerusalem, Israel with a vision to bridge the gap between Christians and Jews. There they met other Christian leaders and after much prayer, formed Christian Friends of Israel.
