CHRISTIAN FRIENDS OF ISRAEL – JERUSALEM
was founded in 1985 , when RAY and SHARON SANDERS moved to ISRAEL from the USA, with the vision of bridging the gap between Christians and Jews . They stayed during many Israeli conflicts, to stand in solidarity with the Jewish people, and started many outreach programs to lift up those in need through monetary donations and clothing. Ray and Sharon have emphasized the Hebraic roots of the Christian faith.

CHRISTIAN FRIENDS OF ISRAEL - CANADA
Reverend PAUL and MARGARET COLLINS, of Victoria, British Columbia worked for Christian Friends of Israel in Jerusalem, in 1990. Paul managed the clothing Distribution Centre, and Margaret worked in the CFI Head Office. This was during the dissolution of the USSR, and they experienced many miracles. In 1994, they started CHRISTIAN FRIENDS OF ISRAEL- CANADA.

Reverend KENNETH and ILENE SMITH, of Surrey, BC, became the new leaders of CFI - Canada in 2014. They worked to obtain the Canadian Charity Status for CFI-Canada. Reverend Ken and Ilene attended EPBC in Peterborough, Ontario, pastored many churches in Western Canada, and led many tours to Israel. Also leading many people to know the Lord personally, encouraging others along the way.
We honour Reverend Kenneth Smith, who moved to glory, to be with his Lord and Saviour May 2, 2022. Our heartfelt sympathy to Ilene and family.

Reverend DENNIS and EWA SPENST of Langley, BC, held the leadership for CFI - Canada, for the year 2019. Due to previous commitments with Hart Ministries and Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship, they passed the torch on.

CANADIAN REPRESENTATIVE Elaine Newman from Lloydminster, Saskatchewan was handed the torch for Christian Friends of Israel - Canada in 2020. Steve & Elaine attended the CHRISTIAN FRIENDS of ISRAEL CONFERENCE and TOUR in JERUSALEM in 2015, 2017, and 2018. Steve works in the ranching and trucking industry co-owning T-1 Transport Inc. . They were married in 1976, and have five children and thirteen grandchildren.
